Hanger Network is a New York based company founded in 2003 has one of the most unique and promising marketing solutions I’ve ever seen. It’s called the EcoHanger. The EcoHanger is made from 100% recycled paper and with recycled plastic bottle caps + they are 100% recyclable and reusable! (video)

With an estimated 3.5 BILLION metal coat hanger being thrown into U.S. landfills each year. Think of it this way….if you were to stack all those hangers up it would be the equivalent to 3 trips to the moon!!

What sets this product apart from so many green-marketing campaigns is its FREE for the distribution network. Local dry cleaners are given the hangers FREE of charge, and the cost is paid for by neighboring marketers. The advertisers target their ads to both male and female adults between the age of 25-54 who frequently use dry cleaning services. Unlike many other forms of advertising these ads fit directly into the consumers daily schedule.
