Who the HELL wants Temporary Tattoos??

temporary-tattoosK, so you’re saying to yourself…dude who wants glow in the dark tatts??  Well my friend they’re is several ways to effectively use this product one of which is increasing word of mouth & branding.

1.  To kids.  With the increase of this tattoo fad, kids love to imitate grown ups….how many people have real Harley-Davidson tattoos??

2.  At nightclubs & bars.  In Europe and elsewhere fast food giants have collaborated with club owners and use an entrance stamp indicating the hours of operation their closest “man Im drunk…I need a _______ and fries!”

3.  Summer night time event/concerts.  Nothing grabs your attention like those glowing rings, glow sticks & necklaces at summer events.  The problem is the ”stoner” kids who are twirling the damn things don’t slow down so you can see your brand.   If you want EYES all over your brand use glow in the dark tattoos!

The point is…….. we need to look at old school marketing, and get creative on when & where  to use this advertising tool.  It’s way more effective to have a glow in the dark tat with your companies URL than place it in a magazines…..at least they’ll see it when it’s time to take’em off!!

TruAction Flix offers temporary tattoos in conjunction with our flipbooks.

Michael Phelps New Sponsor??

grassroots-michaelWell it looks like one ad agency is taking full advantage of the Phelps incident.  Calgary ad agency TAXI, has created posters and placed them all over the city.  The company they made them for was Calgary based hemp store Grass Roots.

Sony’s Guerilla Marketing at GCS

I enjoyed the unique way Sony unveiled their Mini VIAO at Grand Central Station in Manhattan on January 30th/09. (VIDEO)  We have all seen live manikins…..I’ll never forget the first time I saw one, I must have been around 8 years old and it scared the *&%# out of me!!

I feel Sony picked a great location since everybody is moving, having the manikins looking very uniform in appearance and the choreography of having the models moving in sink was a nice touch…..anyway check out the video and tell me what you think?

FREE MERCEDES

Ya you heard it right……FREE MERCEDES…… look alike.  To encourage drivers to visit the Mercedes-Benz dealership, Mercedes logos with Business Cards were stuck onto the bonnets of rival car brands.  Any body puts a Benz bonnet on my Caddy I’d be pissed!! lol
