I found this promotional stunt in the achieves of a  French site called Marketing Alternatif.   This site is really cool, even though my French is very, very rusty….anyway the campaign was created for Starbucks & Wrigley’s  by BBDO Dusseldorf and uses a style of marketing called TACTICAL MEDIASTactical medias is primarily for companies who  prefer quality of the contact rather than the quantity, this creates a close connection to the consumer  by incorporating the brands image in his/her every day life.

FREE MERCEDES

Ya you heard it right……FREE MERCEDES…… look alike.  To encourage drivers to visit the Mercedes-Benz dealership, Mercedes logos with Business Cards were stuck onto the bonnets of rival car brands.  Any body puts a Benz bonnet on my Caddy I’d be pissed!! lol

Promotions East: Promotional Products Industry Trade Show June 1st-3rd/09

Promotions East is the largest & oldest Promotional Product Industry Trade Show in the East.  The trade show will be in the famous Atlantic City, NJ from June 1st-3rd/09.

This 3 day event will have nearly 800 exhibiting suppliers and more than 4,500 distributors!  The event will provide attendees with plenty of educating, networking & social activities.

The event will be held at the Atlantic City Convention Center and exhibits open on Tuesday, June 2nd- 9:30am to 5:00pm and Wednesday, June 3rd- 9:30am to 4:00pm

Hit’em While they’re Young….

Dr. Rathenow, a Portuguese dental surgeon, distributed these promotional pacifiers out to young children’s parents. 

BRILLIANT I SAY!!  Kudos to any business owner who thinks outside the box.  Not only attracting clients but future, lifelong clientele.

Each pacifier came with a business card stating: “Take your baby for a teeth and maxillary check-up before it’s too late!”
